Kafei Korner Sablon: A Space Dedicated to Specialty Coffee

Right in the heart of Sablon, Kafei Korner offers a focused take on what we love most: specialty coffee.

Unlike our Louise and Dansaert locations, where brunch plays a big role, Korner is a quieter, more minimalist space. There’s small kitchen, and no full brunch menu, just a thoughtful coffee program, paired with a small, curated offering.

Yes, you’ll still find our signature fluffy pancakes alongside filter brews and espresso-based drinks. But at Korner, coffee takes center stage.

Guest Roasters, Rotating Every 2-3 months

Every couple of months, we invite guest roasters to takeover the bar. Some from Belgium, some from international often from elsewhere in Europe.

This gives us the chance to showcase roasters we admire, people pushing quality, ethics, and creativity in their craft. For customers, it means a fresh menu and a chance to taste something they wouldn’t usually find in Brussels.

Why It Matters

The goal is simple: support independent, small-scale roasters and share their work with our community.

It’s about connection: roasters to customers, baristas to producers. We want Kafei Korner to be a space where stories travel with the coffee, and where each cup reflects the people behind it.

Roasters We’ve Featured

A few standouts we’ve had the pleasure of working with:

  • Manhattan Coffee Roasters (Rotterdam) - our very first guest roaster, known for their championship-level coffee and roasting precision.

  • Onyx Coffee Lab (USA) - a rare international drop, with standout coffee and a strong reputation. This one was especially exciting for fans of Lance Hedrick, one of the most respected educators in specialty coffee.

  • Cafés Muda (Lille) - award-winning roaster from France with a clean, modern approach to coffee.

Currently on the Bar: People Possession (Paris)

Our current guest is People Possession, a roaster from Paris with a focus on transparent and ethical approach to coffee.

A unique part of their identity is how they package their coffee, instead of traditional bags, they sell their roasted beans in cans. This innovative packaging helps preserve freshness and reflects their commitment to quality and design.

At Korner, you can also take home their coffee beans in cans for a fresh and distinctive brewing experience.

Whether you want to try a new roaster, enjoy a slow pour-over, or simply relax with fluffy pancakes and great coffee, Kafei Korner Sablon is a space built for discovery and appreciation.
